The positions are ranked by Technorati authority which a measure of the number of folks linking to your blog. Tom has a huge following and a subject close to many bloggers hearts. I have a liddle ol product to talk about, I have alot of regular readers but there are not that many bloggers writing about BI or BIP for that matter hence the low scores. Well thats my excuse and Im sticking to it ...

You should also get your site listed on
http://topsites.blogflux.com/technology/

Unlike Technorati that is based on links, topsites uses google like algorithm that ranks a site based on page views, hits, time a user spends on the site etc.

Coincidentally, my blog is 49 on topsites too :)
