Great event - mixed bag of speakers. The objective of being Paperless was very good - but broke down very quickly when you turned up and they could not find you on the registration. Everyone following the zero-paper mantra held up the queue. Nice one. I had my paper invoice so I did not waste anyone else's time. Time is $$$@!. Office 1.0 technology still has value ....

I think this event is pushing the boundaries and making folks think about business in the cloud. The one striking thing common amongst all the vendors is that none of them had an answer to the problem of service provision in an environment of tight security, trust and legislation. Most were shocked to hear that some countries prevent you from moving data across the national boundaries... This is a great opportunity for Oracle to bridge the gap so that Enterprise customers, and more importantly the Users, can enjoy the luxuries available in the Consumer space....
