Mix is for Everyone

Paul announced our new community, Oracle Mix, during OpenWorld. Rich blogged about the experience he and ThoughtWorks had building Mix in 4-ish weeks. Depending on whom you ask, Mix took anywhere from 6-3 weeks to execute, so it was a classic agile project.

    Jake,

    Some feedback from the Oracle user community in EMEA. Quite a few people invested time in building a network inside Connect, and it is proving difficult to convince them to do likewise in Mix. Are there any plans to allow the importing of existing Connect networks into Mix?

    We haven't planned anything yet, but that's high on my list. We're only changing the code base of Connect and not merging the networks, so ideally, the network and ideas will just be upgraded to the Mix code, which will add the groups feature.
