For those Oracle people who come here to read iPhone fodder, I’ve started an internal wiki to collect all the tips and tricks that have surfaced from Oracletes with iPhones. Drop me a note to get the 411.

I guess it depends on the version you're running. From what I've seen, you'll need to export to ical or vcal, then import to iCal to sync to iPhone. It's a bit clunky, but that's 50% Apple's fault for only supporting iCal. I think there's some kung fu you could do on the server side to export a calendar automatically, but you still have the manual iCal step.
Keep in mind I still run Palm for my calendar b/c it has 10 years of data, and I haven't found a good way to move it all to a modern calendar.
I'll bet you could find some sweet hacks out there to make it easier.
Sorry I can't be more helpful. Wait until Rich gets one, then I suspect you'll find a lot more iPhone hacks here.
Thanks,
Jake

Did Rich go to the conference? I really want the hack to get Oracle Calendar entries on the iPhone. Our wonderful Collabsuite Connector will not allow us to sync to Collabsuite. To bad the iPhone doesnt support SyncML (or does it? ). My Nokia was getting along with Oracle's SyncML for calendar.

I have no idea about SyncML. Drop me an email, and I'll point you to the internal wiki I started.

I'm a Graphic Designer and Usability Specialist within the Technology Business at Oracle, working out of the Reston Office. I just picked up an iPhone tonight and I'd love a link to the internal wiki!

I can suggest that you join Oracle Mix and add this as an idea to gauge the support it has. Mix is reviewed by product teams so the appropriate team can see the idea and judge the support behind it.
Based on the number of comments and requests I get each week for the iPhone wiki driven by this post, I'd say you have a pretty large number of Oracle employees who would support your idea.

Could you please email me the link of the internal iphone wiki page.
Also there seems to be a product that will allow you to wirelesly sync your oracle calendar with your iphone. It's called syncml2iphone. Does anyone have experience with this product?

It sure sucks that Oracle employees are enjoying an internal solution
while us paying Oracle customers are left without one.
:-(
Do you know why it was deprecated? Was an alternative solution published
anywhere?
Is this what I'm looking for maybe? http://code.google.com/p/ocal2ical/

I started the wiki in July 2007, right when the iPhone debuted, to collect tips/settings on how to connect to email, etc. At the time, there were dozens of iPhone users internally, not thousands.
After the 3G iPhone came out, our IT published the same content, and I took down my wiki b/c it fractured the information and was extra cost to maintain for our team.
Sorry to disappoint.

I'll move forward with ocal2ical code on google

I can tell you that those on Beehive have more options, but I am not one of the lucky ones to be migrated to Beehive yet.
