Oracle AppsLab: 3 x Location

You've reminded me - I wonder if the MyBlogLog people would be interested in deploying one of their Bluetooth-based Mobile MyBlogLog demos at Oracle OpenWorld. It seems like an ideal place to deploy it.

I'm intrigued. Know anyone over there to approach? I know some folks on this side, although it's probably beyond too late by now.

It may be too late completely. I scanned Ian's tweets, and it appears that m.mybloglog.com is no more.

Just as well, I doubt there would have been much wiggle room in the schedule. Oh well.

"Still, it’s a stretch, since I don’t think Dopplr wants to encourage me to use another service for location."

Hi Jake - actually we're really happy when we're plugged into lots of other services so we deliver Dopplr in the way that suits you best. We hope we're like a really good hifi separate that enhances the total sound ;-) Hope you keep enjoying Dopplr /mj

Hi Matt. Thanks for replying. You didn't address the question of how you're using Fire Eagle. I assume you're updating FE, which I may test later today.

However, it looks like you're not pulling location from FE, unless I missed the window yesterday, and it hasn't run yet today. Why not? I'd enjoy Dopplr more if it did that.
